Design-Build Construction
It's your money, your ideas and your building.  No surprises, no "gotchas".  Simply put, we listen to what you want, identify your needs, develop a budget you can manage, and bring the project to life.  After all, it is your facility.  As the client, you know what works best for your customers and employees  Design-Build allows you to take a lead role in the creative process and an even more practical role in the budget process.  In laymen's terms, it's one stop shopping for construction projects.  DTG takes care of the design, professional reviews, material selection, construction and commissioning.  We can even provide feasibility and market studies.  All under one roof.

Design-Build delivery represents over 90% of the projects we have built and 100% of our repeat customers choose design-build, again and again.  We design-build, you can control the budget further by choosing a cost plus contract, typically with a guaranteed maximum price. (In the industry vernacular, its called a negotiated contract.) Or, you can choose best and final. We identify the cost of the construction and that's what you pay. (In the industry, its called a lump sum contract.) There are advantages to both, before entering into any agreement.

Design-Bid-Build
Using DTG as the Program Manager - This type of delivery encompasses all the benefits of design-build, with one important exception.  At the end of the design process, you own the design and/or construction documents, so, you can invite other firms to provide you a best and final price in a competitive bidding process.  Seem daunting?  DTG can act as your referee and, with the necessary precautions, provide a best and final price as well.

Invited General Contractor - A tried and true method, Design-Bid-Build lends itself well to our public clients where completed construction documents have been developed.  Our friends in the design professions know that a bid from DTG represents realistic costs and high construction quality.  When contemplating a hard bid project, be sure to include DTG as a responsible bidder.

Construction Management
With this delivery method, the client establishes the project budget and chooses both the architects and contractors in the beginning of the design process. This combines the architects and contractors into a team; working together toward the same goal.
